A field station for healing, self-discovery, and transformation through nature and creative expression. Set in a forest, five minutes from downtown Madison.
Studio Wildwoods is a place where nature and creative expression become a path forward. Our first active initiative, The Studio Wildwoods Sessions, features performances and conversations with independent artists whose songs and stories come from a place of healing and transformation. Think of it as the unofficial Tiny Desk of the Midwest.

Are you an artist whose music comes from a place of healing or transformation? We'd love to record you. Get in touch →
Studio Wildwoods was founded by Jon Brouchoud, founder and CEO of Arch Virtual, a company headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, that develops virtual reality software for medical training.
Jon focuses on music as a way of navigating the grief of losing his wife, Kandy Brouchoud, to ovarian cancer in 2022. He transformed their home into a studio where he records and interviews independent local musicians on their own journeys of transformation, healing, and self-discovery. He plays keyboard in the band LENTI.
Jon is a proud ambassador of COPA Madison, which empowers community arts organizations and creative professionals.
Have a question, want to collaborate, or just say hello? We'd love to hear from you.
